Clitoral Hood Piercing (CHV and CHH)
The clitoral hood (or fold of the clit) is a very popular genital piercing and source of joy for women. Either vertically with a barbell (CHV) or horizontally with a ring (CHH), it is downright pretty and stimulating effective. The CHV is sometimes confused with the Christina, which looks similar but is higher.
Vertical, a slightly curved rod that goes into the clitoral fold at the top and comes out under it (CHV: clitoral hood vertical). The upper ball is usually chosen as a rhinestone that jumps towards the eye. The lower ball of the piercing comes to lie on the clitoris. The clitoris is not pierced.
The piercing is quite popular: on the one hand it looks very beautiful, on the other hand it is sexually stimulating, similar to the actual clitoral piercing. The wearing comfort is pleasant. The ladies love it…so do their partners.
One variant is to pierce the piercing a little higher in the fold across with a small ring (CHH: horizontal clitoral hood). The position of the ring is purely decorative and has less stimulating effect because it is not in direct contact with the clitoris.
The healing is easy and quick, very short for both, approx. 2–3 weeks, because usually only a short distance is pierced through the fold.
