XS Piercing

Oberflächen – Decolleté – Nacken Piercing

The décolleté or cleavage piercing is a typical surface piercing, see also Cristina Piercing (intimate piercing women), where this form of piercing is often used. This has the property that it grows out less (a rectangular bent U, at the ends of which, which are ideally just above the skin surface, on which stones are screwed). The curved rods used in the past have not proven to be suitable for this purpose. The piercing is stitched with a special technique so that the depth is correct and so that it really “sits”. It is only suitable for places where there is enough subcutaneous fat and which are not mechanically stressed.

The healing time depends on the distance between the stones, or the length of the rod in the depth. A healing period of about 6-8 weeks is normal. A slight redness at the exit ends is normal during healing, and disappears later.

Similar to the décolleté, the surface bars can also be placed, e.g. in the neck. However, they must not be placed exactly over the vertebral spinous process, and they must be placed transversely. They are also used for Cristina piercing.
