Cheeks Piercing

Cheeks are challenging to pierce, as they need to appear exactly symmetrically in the face. We also need more time for this. Cheeks are always made with flexible plastic rods so that there are no tooth injuries when mistakenly biting on them.  Cheeks are slow and difficult healing piercings. Problems are common.

The Cheeks piercing has a relatively long puncture canal, therefore the healing time is much longer than, for example, with a lower lip. The swelling around the piercing can last up to two weeks.
